BRA's an Bra Models, What a joke!

      I have to write this quickly as I need to leave soon, but just had to post this watching a show all about Bras, Well, let me throw my attitude out there. This show was all about, well a segment was about finding a bra to fit as you need to. Not so. The models they show are all young and slender. Our bodies change as we age and yes I know smart alec's, then take better care. Well what if you didn't? What if you just like the way you are?
      The price bigger women pay for bras is a sin. Personally I love PLAYTEX! Now isn't that personal, but you must hand wash as in all bras, lose shape and elasticity. YOU can buy them on line too and not be disappointed with colors. There is less choice in local big department stores and why is that? Because the businesses want you to pay higher than needed ship and handling.
   Oh in that show it gave a name of a place so popular that bras fit anyone. I won't give that business name out because it was delightful to see a model, average size, yeah sure, which I haven't seen in some time, anyway she was about a size 12. Her bra didn't fit, straps were sliding down after adjustments and the cups were way off. I should give the name actually, but now don't remember it. But if you are locally here or look up channel eight in York Pa. It was on at 8:30 a.m.-I'm sure you can find it.

   I have been convinced! So many kids come and go in my home which is without most electronics, but I am coming up to speed. Writing is my passion but this is a gift for anyone that takes them through play in all kinds of weather, A way to invite friends in and keep an eye on the kids at the same time. Verizon , Police, & MIssing Persons

      Without going into specifics I learned tonight that VERIZON is a phone service suggested  by those who search for people. It appears when a lost person, run-a way-people in trouble need to be found who have VERIZON, well they can easily be located with a VERIZON phone. Not only will VERIZON "ping" easily to an area, but an address is more detectable with Verizon.
      In My Opinion, make sure your children who have cell phones use Verizon, elderly parents who may appear to be going through those stages in life can use a VERIZON phone. Honestly with the information I have learned about tonight, everyone should switch.

KABOOM-It WORKS !!!!

   Yea and finally. I sprayed it on, waited a few minutes and used an old mop, wet it and wiped off, down and sideways to insure I took off all of the Kaboom.
Many people say you just have to get in there and scrub. I tried that too and am not good at it with a bad back and knees, so to my surprise I finally found a product that really works, Kaboom is number one on my bath tub cleaner. Kaboom is less expensive than most such items on the market, well excuse me, many not such items. Kaboom to you!

    I read an article last night about Kaboom and remembered as I read it that this was supposed to be a very good product especially for hardened soap on the bathtub walls and tub itself. While my tub is very clean, looks very white it is dull from all of the use of hand soaps. I have learned during my searches that hand soap is the worst to use, as the residue sticks to the tub and walls, so off to shop today, buy a bottle of Kaboom and will let you know the results tomorrow, maybe even tonight. Oh, anyone who lives here now uses body wash.

Welch's Grape Juice 100 %

   


This is a grape juice worth buying. It does have however 36gr of sugars but if you are on a 2000-two thousand calorie a day diet, you might want to drink four ounces instead of the eight ounces as a serving. Eight ounces is one hundred and forty calories (140) so cut it in half and eat those colorful fruits and vegetables.

That was a discussion I had last night as you can read in my other blog and now I am happy it happened as I have learned another lesson, but so will the other person in wanting to be so right.
    Well a couple of hard boiled eggs, a small glass of Welch's Grape juice and I'm off to a good start. I love protein too, so buying a large roast, marinate, and will use by slicer to prepare for about five days of lunchtime meals with a deep green salad, and I will have that Welch's Grape juice each morning to replace coffee. Is there a better choice?

White Vinegar Removes Lipstick and more

       Talk about stain removers! Who would have thought that white vinegar removes lipstick, and grass stains. I just tried some on my living room carpet. I had a stain in one small spot, well about the size of a large hand for a few years and nothing would take it out. Then a week ago I had a carpet cleaner company over to clean the carpet. That stains and a few other small stains were left after it finally dried.
      Try it. Either dilute it or use full strength, whatever you feel comfortable doing for a first time. No chemicals, a clear product is always better and less expensive than anything I know Carpet Cleaning company=73.14 a bottle of vinegar= .89. Now how can you go wrong?

How's Your Mental Health ?

    So do you think a person with Mental health problems are the only people who have concerns about mental health? I hope not. We all have to be concerned about our own health, mental and physical.
      I am not a doctor.Maggieshelpcenter.com However I am always concerned about mental health, mine, my family's and everyday people I meet. When I go to a store and a cashier is grumbling about this or that, my first thought is she or he must be overworked and underpaid, so I make a joke at my own expense. I also make sure to tell them I appreciate how nice they were.
        At the appropriate times I let them know about college classes and grants, hobbies that can turn into a career, day care, places to meet singles. Yes I am full of information, but only because I went through those things and we need to and should, help others who are sometimes having more than just a bad day.
       Take a few days off as mental health days. Don't worry about a stigma in asking for this as companies would rather you do this as a way to insure happy, healthy and productive employees. Make sure your job has in place a day or days off for mental health. Let your job benefits, benefit you.
          Some companies even have discounts for gym memberships and check your medical benefits as within that is also therapeutic massages. Please read your benefit manual. Don't let stress, stress you out. Read, talk and ask questions about your benefits. You'll be happily surprised and healthier for it.

OLAY BODYWASH, Ultra Moisture...ahhh

     About two weeks ago I bought a large bottle of Olay body wash. It was the first time I used it and found out I love this product. Most of my life I've used oil of Olay soap. It just feels good. Olay doesn't leave your body feeling itchy, dry or tight. The feeling is as if I'm putting a moisturizer on all over my body.
      This is such a fantastic body wash that even men can use it. It isn't just for women only ! If I were a man I'd use this Olay for shaving. It's smooth, clean and gives your skin in a sense of newness.
      The best thing I can suggest is to try it. You don't have anything to lose, but you will gain that sense of just getting a massage and refreshed skin. What more can you ask for. Olay does it better than any moisturizer I've ever tried.

Photoelectric Smoke Detectors

       Photoelectric smoke detectors are what you need and want. Although many, too many homes have the ionized as I do, they just fail miserably in a real fire. Sure, they go off when you push that little red button and when a little smoke rises from a stove, but in a real fire, they FAIL more often then you want to know.
      I recently watched an movie made not too long ago about both types of detectors. It shocked me to know what I have now is not what I should have, now what anyone should have. I made a list of home improvements and on the top to buy products is the PHOTOELECTRIC smoke alarm.
      Do you have babies and small children, people who depend their lives on you? Then buy this type of smoke detector.

       The government approves the ionized kind because of price. It's made cheaply and works the same. Spend a little more on a Photoelectric smoke detector. One life is worth it, but imagine how many more will be saved when you gift this product ?

       It's been many years now that I have purchased stencils from Annie at Scrappinalong. I love words, phrases and painting, and woodworking. So put them all together and you have a fine work of art which sends a message. I am going to include a picture of a few I've done.

In exchanging e-mails for special orders, it feels as if I am working with a very good friend. So now, if you always wondered about stenciling, this is the place to go to, and if you are new at this without any experience or knowledge at all, here are a couple of tips.
    1. Make time to do it in the quiet enjoyment of your home.
    2. Please use stencil paints only-it really does work best-I know I tried to use crafters paint and while I could make it work, many times it ended up to be sloppy.
   3. Let it dry between layers.
   4. VERY IMPORTANT...use baby wipes to clean your stencils. That was something I asked Annie about way into my stenciling years and after I used baby wipes, I thought about all the time and aggravation I could have saved myself.
   5. If you add hangars to the back if you intend to sell, add a piece of twine or rope to give a choice as how a person may want to hang. You can also simply tape the hangars and twine to the back or put in the wrapping. GILDAN TEE-SHIRTS

        Have you purchased white tee-shirts, the kind you mainly wear under dress shirts or in winter as part of layering to stay warm? It doesn't matter who wears them, men or women. I know I like to wear a tee-shirt in winter under a sweat shirt. Lately I've been buying tee-shirts on sale using them as ads for my new book. I would go home and do iron-on's. The first brand was okay but for me didn't feel good-enough when I think of female pre-teens.
        So one day I knew I needed a package of transfer paper and stopped in at AC MOORE. I like to shop in a one trip style of shopping. In I go to pick up a pack of paper and there I see tee shirts on sale, four for ten dollars. I never thought to buy tee-shirts in a craft store, but I did stop as the whiteness of the shirts attracted me.
        Picking one up I was honestly amazed at the thickness, a texture I have not ever felt in a tee-shirt and knew, now I have a product I feel good about if a female pre-teen would buy one of my ad-shirts in the Spring. I looked for a brand name and found it was a GILDAN. Personally I've never heard of Gildan or don't remember that name, but later in the afternoon a young woman was visiting and I let her know about these tee-shirts. I told her I almost think there too good for the transfers. Into the kitchen where some crafts are stored, I picked up the shirt, brought it to the young lady and asked, have you ever heard of Gildan? But at just about the same time she felt the shirt and looked at the label and said , "oh yeah, I buy these for my kids, these are really nice and last". I was now sold for good.
